Kris Anderson shedding some light: "Violent Impact was out of Des Moines yes hardcore/death metal I was not a part of the band they we good friends of mine but the line up changed so much I couldn't hardly keep track on who was in it I know it started with the basic line up I posted but I do believe Rick [Funderburk] may have started on vocals but left after a few practices then Matt Page for a few shows and a recording then he left and Jay stepped in and the drummers changed a few times and then it ended and we started Upon Deaths Arrival."
