Shearpoint was created by Jacob Blobaum, Mark Voyna, Josh Lester, and Skyler Ruiz. The whole idea for the band came from Mark, Josh, and Jake missing the feeling of performing. With no aspirations of touring or getting signed. This project was created for the sake of having a way to vent all the frustration we all have from our day to day lives.

Shearpoint was in-between the band 'Buster Casey' quitting and coming back.

The track 'Still Frames' (2014) was the first and only track released off of the band's intended debut EP 'House Of Glass', which from by the looks of it also never released. The track was produced, recorded, mixed, and mastered by Mark Voyna of Bare Bones Recordings.
