COMMENTS

At the moment the band is in demo stage, but it's basically Murder Earth with a different singer... Kris Anderson from Heroes End and Realitys Flaw.

An early description of the band went as featuring members of Murder Earth, Nest Of Snakes and Crown King Revival.

Sons Of The South is a mixture of Des Moines' musicians getting together for the love of good Sabbath, Down, C.O.C. and Clutch style of music.

The band's first single was 'On The Road To Me', and their second one being 'Hell Awaits'.

Jason Boten (Nest Of Snakes) was the first vocalist in the band, and Jas Spargur (Crown King Revival) was in the band very briefly (maybe a week or two) as a drummer. Jason says "He [Tim Flor] said my singing was a big part of the inspiration for that project. Then they had someone else and I was out. It's ok, though. I'm busy and love little temporary projects like that."

Jason on the first line-up: "It was just me and Tim recording... we were never physically together... all recording."

Tim Flor's input: "Jason never jammed when has was in the band. Jason was on first demo recording which was just Jason, myself, Rick and Ryan." He goes on to say: "We decided to try another singer when Jas tried the drums. That singer didn't work out so not even considering him as being apart of. Then Jas was out and got Jared in drums along with Kris. Played one show rerecorded the vocals over the song Jason was on and that was it." There was no actual drummer, originally... Tim elaborates: "I just programmed the drums and did all the demoing on my computer."
