Sometimes incorrectly called 'One Cup Of Fat'.

One Fat Cup was announced at first as being Shawn Crahan's solo project. Then later on it was being called a side-project along with his drum tech Sa-tone, One Minute Silence vocalist Brian Barry, and ex-Slipknot percussionist Brandon.

At the time the band was said to be currently finishing up an album produced by Rick Rubin, but a release date had not been set. The band had then been named 'To My Surprise' and featured Slipknot percussionist Shawn 'Clown' Crahan, vocalist/guitarist Brandon Darner and bassist Stevan Robinson. At the time commentators hoped that this would be the final cut of the band, and hopefully would release an album soon, which was a sign of how many times it had changed its name and line-up.

Author's note: Fans trying to keep up with developments back in the day didn't know whether One Fat Cup was still a thing or if they just changed the name to To My Surprise. Looking back through my own notes, I'd documented that a Kerrang! magazine in January 2003 mentioned Shawn Crahan working on his then current side-project, One Cup Fat, which at the time I'd never heard of.
