Often shortened to just 'LOYW'.

'Look Outside Your Window' was the side-project of Corey Taylor, Jim Root, Sid Wilson, and Shawn 'Clown' Crahan, who in the downtime during recording sessions for Slipknot's 2008 album 'All Hope Is Gone', began to freely create songs for themselves, exploring new directions with no outside expectations. Over the years, fans have only grown louder in their demand to hear this album. Now, some 18 years later, the fans will finally get to experience it.

Recorded at Sound Farm Studio, Studio B, in Jamaica, Iowa.

Produced and mixed by Matt Sepanic.

Released as part of the Record Store Day releases on April 18, 2026.

Cut tracks from the album include 'My Pain' and ''Til We Die'. A snippet of this version of 'My Pain' was featured in the DVD 'Voliminal: Inside The Nine', and a full version was previously released as the twelfth track on the Slipknot album 'We Are Not Your Kind' (2019). The song ''Til We Die' was previously released as the fifteenth and final track on the special edition of Slipknot's album 'All Hope Is Gone' (2008).

Author's note: This project was previously listed online under the name of 'Her Voice', but I think both names are probably just fan speculation. Future online searches for 'Her Voice' now produce no valid results, and 'Look Outside Your Window' was meant to be the name of the actual album and not the project itself, even though the project ended up being called it as well.
