COMMENTS
F.O.R. was a Slipknot/American Head Charge side-project consisting of Paul Gray from Slipknot, and the majority of the other members being from (or later joining) American Head Charge.
Previously the meaning of the band name was a bit of a mystery, but it's since been discovered by fans that F.O.R. actually stood for a number of possibilities. 'F.O.R.' was originally just 'For', based of a painting that was done by Cameron for Karma Cheema at the studio, which allegedly had the words 'For Karma' on it. Later it was decided that F.O.R. would have been 'Fossils Of Reason', 'Fossils Of Reality', and at some point it was said to be 'Fossils Of Ransom'. The band later changed the name to 'Run With The Hunted', which it kept until it fizzled out. 'Drag The River' was another idea for a name but there was already said to be another band in, maybe Texas, with that already. 'Tacklebox' was another name thrown out there as a joke because that was a term the band were using to describe how fucked up everyone was getting, saying "I'm so tackleboxed".
Five demo tracks have been publicly released, but it's said that anywhere between 10-20 were actually recorded. They were recorded in 2002 for a 2003 release, which never came due to record label issues at the time.
Paul was said to have played acoustic guitar on 2-3 songs and maybe bass on one or two. Chad was the main bass player.
It's been speculated that Roadrunner Records wouldn't allow the album to happen as they claimed it was going to interfere with Paul's Slipknot obligations around that time.
During June 2015, the five unfinished and unreleased demo recordings from 2002 were officially released, being uploaded to American Head Charge's official YouTube channel and were announced on AHC's official Facebook page.
