COMMENTS

Fear Factory was formed in 1989 under the name Ulceration. In 1990, the name 'Fear Factory' was adopted to reflect the band's new death metal sound.

It was reported in September 2006 that Sid Wilson (Slipknot) was working on a collaboration with then Fear Factory drummer Raymond Herrera on a new project. Sid was quoted as saying: "There's not really a per se style yet. We're just kind of creating music and seeing what we're coming up with. We haven't decided what any of it's for."
