COMMENTS

Also known as 'Exodia US' to differentiate from a thrash metal band from Spain that's also called 'Exodia'.

Exodia was only supposed to be one song (Disgust) and was never meant to be anything more. Not a full band, no merch, no tours. Just a singular song.

This was a project that Jake Gracey started on his phone with a friend that lives across the country. Exodia started as a single song so he could do vocals on a song instead of drums. He didn't even have lyrics written, he used old lyrics from around 2012 about some "low life dick head that used to bully me" (of course he revamped the lyrics a little).

The track 'Kanker Sisters' features vocals from Dustin Schultz (Dividing The Masses).

In the credits for the 'Mahaska' album, lyrics are said to have been written by Jake Gracey and Dylan Medina. Dylan was also previously in another band with Jake called Main State.

Also credited on 'Mahaska' as writing guitars, bass, and drums, is one Hunter Spader (And Hell Followed With, Pry). Not knowing who he is or what his connection was to the band, I asked Brandon Feldt about him. Brandon said: "Hunter Spader is a deathcore musician... Jake paid Hunter to ghost write the EP songs before members were found."
