COMMENTS
Dawn Of Destruction's original line-up saw them have three guitarists, making for somewhat of an auditory onslaught.
The band performed a cover of the Slipknot song 'People=Shit' in a last minute encore, during a last minute show, at The House Of Bricks in November 2014.
Ethan Hazelwood (Katastrophes Tomb) performed guest vocals live onstage with the band during the song 'Salo'. This was at Woolys on March 28, 2015, which would also be the band's last show.
During May 2015, vocalist Matt Nyberg announced his departure from the band. As a result, the band as DOD is officially over. The rest of the members intend to get a new singer and carry on, although under a new name.
Originally, when the band first announced that DOD was no more, it was intended to carry on but with a different vocalist and under a new name. This didn't happen and the band members went their separate ways, quickly joining existing bands or forming new ones, but not as true successors to DOD.
Just before the band split they were looking for a keyboardist.
The dissolution of DOD saw most of the members of the final line-up part ways and enter new bands. Matt Nyberg is now semi-retired, Jake Schreck went into 'ghosthive', Bradley Millis had a stint in 'Pipe Bomb', Drew Wilson (unknown), and Mike Ramsey formed 'Wolves Amongst Men'.
