COMMENTS
The band's only official release (at time of writing), 'The Inexorable Nemesis' EP, is all instrumental. The tracks 'Elusion Of Extinction' and 'The Void' later had vocals added once the band found a vocalist, and were released separately.
Some of the songs were passed around prior to the EP's release under different names or working titles. The EP's opening track 'The Inexorable Nemesis' was simply called 'Intro', what ended up becoming 'The Void' was called 'De-Evolution Of Man Part III', and 'Xenomorphs' was called 'World Breaker' (two words)... which in turn was a reworked version of the band's previous song under a different line-up, 'Worldbreaker' (one word).
In September 2024, Nick Jordan released a new two-part single titled 'To Suffer In Vain' under the Desecrate Ethereal name.
Author's note: The band has gone through several changes. After Desecrate Ethereal kind of came to a standstill some time after the EP release, it morphed into Lucidium during the latter half of 2021. Then after Lucidium failed to really go anywhere, DE resurrected during February 2023, but this time more as a studio project. This also saw the debut of a new band logo. Later in 2024, Nick Jordan began releasing his solo material under the DE name.
