Crypt Strypper is a horror rock band founded by Alexx Sawyer in 2009 in Carmel, New York. Beginning as a solo acoustic 'southern sleaze' project and becoming a full rock band later in 2010, Crypt Strypper's time in New York eventually ended acoustic as it began due to rotating band members. In 2015 Sawyer resurrected Crypt Strypper in Hollywood, California, with Kitty Eckhardt on bass, AcE on guitar and Dizzy Draztik on drums.

Author's note: Most people didn't even know that Ryan McMurray (Dizzy Draztik) could play drums until his position in this band!
