COMMENTS
The Berzerker started off with only Luke Kenny as a one-man DJ/programmer, remixing songs by death metal bands such as Deicide and Morbid Angel.
The album 'Dissimulate' (2002) is the only full-length album the band has released that features an actual drummer instead of a drum machine.
The Berzerker did a cover of 'All The Things She Said', which was originally a song by Russian music duo t.A.T.u. from their first English-language studio album, '200 km/h In The Wrong Lane' (2002).
The band made an appearance on the compilation album 'This Is Terror 11' - mixed by the Sickest Squad & Frazzbass, with the track 'Her Fear Was A Lie' - an exclusive song for T.I.T. Records (2008).
The Berzerker ex-bands and side-projects include, but are not limited to: Abramelin, Adverse Reaction, Akercocke, Belligerent Intent, Faustian, Headkase, King Parrot, Man Must Die, Morbicide, Mystic Insight, Plague, Sufferkunt, The Antichrist Imperium, The Senseless, The Wolves, and Werewolves.
Author's note: The Berzerker were once labelled as the world's most extreme band, due to the speed and brutality of their sound. Originally, the band wore hideous monster masks when performing live and for photoshoots, but ended up ditching these as apparently a large section of the underground couldn't see past the masks to really hear the music.
