Since 2003, Nysrok Infernalien and Nightstalker have been delivering aggressive and powerful dark EBM music under the ALIEN VAMPIRES moniker, mixing harsh distorted vocals allying destructive sexuality and apocalyptic industrial dance.

On the 'Return Me To Hell' (2023) album, track number 21 (the final track) is called 'Assimilate' (Skinny Puppy cover), and features Joey Jordison on drums. This is said to be the last track he ever recorded.

The duo recorded the cover in collaboration with Electhrone, which featured Attila Csihar (Mayhem) and Istvan Zilahy (Plasma Pool) next to the late Joey Jordison (Slipknot).

Alien Vampires said that they recorded the Skinny Puppy cover 'Assimilate' with Attila and Joey Jordison as they were supposed to launch a new band called 'Electhrone', but sadly Joey left us before the time came. They then decided to include the cover in their last album 'Return Me To Hell'. They didn't feel the need to disclose Joey's name as a feature in the cover, as a form of respect, even though Joey wanted to release the song and the other ones they recorded together. Although, after Attila's post in the last days (at the time) and the diffusion of the news in the magazines, they decided to make it public too and they thanked again their brother Joey (RIP) for giving them his very last contribution.
